NewEn Australia is a co-developer of wind farms. It is a subsidiary of a German, family-owned business, which has many years experience around the world in the natural resource sector.
NewEn Australia started in 2003 and has a number of projects at various stages of development in Victoria. We believe in harvesting the wind in the most economic and ecological way possible, while respecting the heritage,supporting the environment and working with the community.
SALT CREEK WIND FARM The Salt Creek Wind Farm will be located in the Shire of Moyne, just south of Woorndoo. A planning permit for the Wind Farm was obtained in 2007.
DUNDONNELL WIND FARM The Dundonnell Wind Farm project is an exciting project for NewEn, as it is the first time we have dealt with a group of land holders motivated to source a wind farm for their properties.
WINGEEL WIND FARM Plans for a Wingeel Wind Farm are in the very early research stage. Some landholders have agreed to be part of the project and we are continuing to communicate with additional landholders in the surrounding area.
WIND FARM DEVELOPMENT The planning of wind farms is really a complex task, which generally takes at least three to five years from the very beginning until the installation of the wind turbines.
